Tonight, Seasons Of Change takes a rather hazardous journey though the good, the bad and the (occasionally) ugly musical terrain of cover versions of classic songs….including a pigeon pair of songs originally written by Mike Rudd (Spectrum, Ariel) and re-recorded in 1974 in the UK by Manfred Mann with his Earth Band.

Here's a cover that didn't make it into the playlist - Spectrum on ABC TV's show GTK in 1970, and their version of Ross Wilson's song "Make your stash", with a tune arranged from "The Planets" by classical composer Gustav Holst. The song eventually ended up in the hands of Manfred Mann in the UK and in 1973, along with new lyrics, got to #9 in the charts as "Joybringer":
