The 2017 Adelaide Fringe has a slightly proggy component this year with two different performances of "Tubular Bells" to choose from (Tubular Bells For Two and Tubular Bells - The Original) so tonight is a good time to hear some of that classic album; and Adelaide band Southern Empire has several gigs around Adelaide as part of the 2017 Adelaide Fringe. It's happy birthday to Mike Rudd (leader of legendary Australian bands Spectrum and Ariel), Rod Argent (The Zombies, Argent) and Steve Walsh (Kansas). And, as a tribute to the late Jim Keays, the program starts with a stack of classic music from The Master's Apprentices.
