The 2017 Adelaide Fringe has a slightly proggy component this year with two different performances of "Tubular Bells" to choose from (Tubular Bells For Two and Tubular Bells - The Original) so tonight is a good time to hear some of that classic album; and Adelaide band Southern Empire has several gigs around Adelaide as part of the 2017 Adelaide Fringe. The Seasons Of Change Birthday Book also has birthdays this weekend for guitarist Andy Powell (mainstay of the classic UK band Wishbone Ash) and talented drummer Pierre van der Linden (from the Dutch prog masters Focus).
