Tonight, diving into music from "6 of the best" - classic Aussie progressive rock albums from the 1970's, starting with classics from the "head music" scene of the early 1970's (Spectrum, Tamam Shud and Madder Lake). Plus, originally from Adelaide, The Masters Apprentices, and Mike Rudd's later project Ariel; and concluding with the marvellous Jeff St John and the trippy "Joint Effort" from his band Copperwine which combined funk, soul, psychedelia and progressive rock into one heady brew.
