Playlist - 6 August 2022

Tonight a show of two halves: first, from 8pm, another musical journey back 50 years to the year 1972; then, from 9pm, a miscellany of music including a visits to the Birthday Book for Alan Holdsworth (British-born guitarist who recorded both solo and with several bands including the first line-up of prog rock supergroup UK) and Rick van der Linden (Dutch keyboardist best known as the leader of the classical-rock band Ekseption). EDIT: plus a mini tribute to the late Judith Durham who passed away today at the age of 79, leaving a manifold legacy of marvellous music with The Seekers.
