This week, another diverse serving of prog rock and anything else that fits from Australia and overseas, including recent music from Adelaide band Quiet Child, some Cornish folk-rock from another local group Gavin O’Loghlen & Cotter’s Bequest and an Aussie classic from Healing Force. And it's happy birthday to singer Jon Anderson (Yes),  French jazz pianist Jacques Loussier and the multi-talented Gil Matthews (drummer with Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs, as well as house engineer/producer for Havoc Records; and more recently the guru behind the remastering and reissue of some classic Australian music from the 1970's).

This week, another diverse serving of prog rock and anything else that fits from Australia and overseas, including recent music from progressive metal band Breaking Orbit (Sydney) and "psychedelic folk rock" band The Lammas Tide (Perth). There's also classic Australian music from Bakery and Lobby Loyde. And it's happy birthday to the fine lyricist Keith Reid who has provided the words to songs for the band Procol Harum since 1967, and who in his spare time has put words in the mouths of singers including Robin Trower, Peter Frampton and John ("You're the voice") Farnham.
